Experimental design is the cornerstone of Amy Firestone Rosen’s compositions. She uses an improvisational sensibility to create a tapestry of visual marks as she investigates the tension between order, disorder, pattern and form. Her work relies on elements of curiosity, unpredictability and surprise. She is interested in merging her printmaking skills with three dimensional artwork, creating dynamic works of art which the viewer can walk around. Let’s call this practice print-installation or simply “printstallation”.
